Thanksgiving Feast

Today there was a Thanksgiving feast at Ella's school. All the kindergardeners were indians. They've been making their costumes at school over the last couple of weeks. They asked everyone that was going to join them for the feast to dress as pilgrims. I had about 5 minutes to throw together some hats and bonnets for us before walking out the door. I felt a little silly when we were the only guests that made any attempt to dress up. But it was fun anyways and we enjoyed ourselves! Here we are!

(Yes, Drews is still in his little gown that he slept in! But at least he had his hat on!)

Look at these three little indians! This is Ella with 2 friends from her class, Lillian and Emilee. They're so cute!

Yummy Thanksgiving lunch ~ complete with chocolate milk!

I have to say, these indian costumes were much cooler than anything I remember making in school. They did everything on them, including dying them brown from white. I love kindergarden! It's so much fun!

I love that you dressed up. Better to be festive than dull! Looks like kindergarten is fun for Ella... I don't remember making projects like that either.

I love your Thanksgiving costumes, so now what are you all going to be for Christmas? I also loved Drews "stuffed Turkey" shirt he wore on Sunday!
