Pumpkin carving
We carved our pumpkin Monday night for FHE. This is the first year we've actually carved a pumpkin. In the past we have painted them because I wasn't brave enough to bring knives out around Ella and she could help more with painting than she could carving. Ava only lasted a few minutes before she started falling apart and just needed to go to bed. And I was feeding Drews. So really it turned into a fun night for Ella and Dave! Ava was pretty excited to see it the next morning though!

Wow, your jack-o-lantern looks better than any one we've ever made! I'm impressed! Did you guys roast the seeds? That's my boys' favorite part! I get an 'F' this year...I kept telling the boys we'd buy a pumpkin closer to Halloween and we never got around to it.
