I love that my girls are already such good friends. Sure I know, the day is probably not too far off that Ava will become the annoying, pestering little sister (I was that sister!) and that Ella will be too busy to hang out with her all the time; but then they will grow up and be the best of friends. I am sure of it. They are happiest when they are together. I love hearing them run around giggling together. I love watching Ella teach Ava how to do something, read her a book, or sing her a song after we have tucked them in for the night and Ava is crying. Ella is such a good big sister and always greets Ava first after coming home from school. I love that Ava gets so excited to see her, cries when she leaves and will eat when Ella feeds her (even when she won't eat when mom is trying to feed her the very same thing!) I love watching them dance around the house together and roll around on the ground being silly together. I love the way they make silly faces back and forth to each other and are both laughing so hard they can hardly breathe. I love that they have each other and always will. I love that I get to watch them grow up together and be a part of such a special relationship. They are beautiful; they are my angels, my girls.

Awww - I love it! Yes, Ella will eventually think that Ava is downright annoying, but then a few years later, she'll remember that really she's her best friend and that she's really grateful and blessed to have her as a sister.
The picture of the two of them in the crib is great (although I can't believe Dave went along with it)! It is SO heart-warming to see your kids play together and love eachother.
