She loves me...

I am the luckiest mom in the world. I get "flowers" from Ella nearly every day. Most often, I get these beautiful dandelions!

Quite frequently you will find them in my hair, on my pillow, on my kitchen counters, on my keyboard, in the windowsills, you name it. And quite regularly you will find an upset Ella because mom didn't put the flowers in water to prevent them from withering away. So today I got 2 more dandelions. I laid them on the desk and went on with my work. Ella promptly came over and did this:

And said this: "Here mom. All they need is a little water and light and they'll stay alive. Don't turn this light off. It needs to stay on for 2 days. Okay?" Hmm, really?! I'm so glad my Ella loves me so much and wants to give me flowers every day and cares whether or not they stay alive so I can enjoy them. (Sadly, her thumb is greener than mine! I kill every living plant I come in contact with.) But I remember collecting bunches of weeds for my mom and thinking I had created the most beautiful bouquet. It's fun to see Ella do the same thing.
So hooray for my first post in well over a month! I'll hopefully be adding a Christmas update here soon! Check back...I know by now I've probably moved to many of your "bloggers that don't really blog" list! I'll get there!

Don't worry, I had faith in you. You haven't moved to my bloggers that don't blog list yet.

There IS hope for you - and I'll be checking back! Oh - and did you find a place for the endless supply of artwork yet? I'm still working on that one!

Hi Holly!
I found you on facebook then wondered if you had a blog... and walla. I can't wait to have time to read more! You need to update just for me. ha ha. :) You have a beautiful family! It was fun to see the picture of your family all together at the blessing.
Your daughter is so sweet to bring you flowers all of the time.
