Today marked the 100th day of school! Apparently it's a widely celebrated day amongst school-goers. Kindergarteners at Ella's school made posters with 100 items on them, counted out 100 pieces of different things to make "trail mix" for snack, made pictures of themselves at the age of 100, and best of all, got to dress up like they were 100 years old! Here's our little old lady...pretty cute huh!? It's hard to see all the detail in these pictures...can you see her pretty pearl necklaces? And her hair in a little bun? How about those knee highs?! I wanted to stretch them out so they would fall down around her ankles, but Ella wasn't too keen on that idea. We had fun dressing her up though and calling her "old lady" all day! Man, kindergarten is soooo fun! (An added bit of fun to this costume...the pearl necklaces and the brooch that is on her shawl originally belonged to her great grandma and the cane belonged to her great grandpa!)
