Each student did a page in the book. The letter was at the top and on the bottom they each wrote "I love Mrs Lake because..." and then I added their picture to it.

To present it, all the kids were holding theirs up so she could read the message "Thank you for everything!" when she came in and when she uncovered her eyes they hollered "We love you Mrs. Lake!" It was really cute! Then we made her cover her eyes again while 3 students went and got this and placed it in front of her:

She was genuinely surprised and we all had such a fun time doing it!
Other things that we did this week...on Monday, everyone brought her a treat. Ella and I made a candy gram. I forgot to take a picture of it but we put things like "I "skor"ed big time when I got you for my teacher! You always help me when I'm in a "crunch" and don't understand something. I will never forget the "mounds" of "thingamajigs" you have taught me. You are such a "sweettart" and I love you to "pieces." I can't remember what else was on it, but it was super cute! Tuesday everyone brought flowers to make a bouquet (there were so many she actually made 3 bouquets with them!) and a thank you note from the parents. Wednesday was the fruit basket (below) and Thursday was school supply day.

I have to say that of all the kindergarten teachers I really do believe Ella got the best one. She has been so great and Ella just adores her. We were truly happy and excited to show our appreciation to her this week. She has done soooo much! We love you Mrs. Lake!

It's something wonderful when your child is in good hands! I bet the teacher really appreciated all your efforts. So sweet!
I need to get the phone number of your lady who makes those stools. They are SO cute!
I love the book. It is great. So glad Ella's first year of school was with a good teacher!
I love the picture of the teacher! She looks so nice! Teachers love stuff like that... I know!
